Our Philosophy
In times of Minimally Invasive treatment options, the role of Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy cannot be undermined. Therefore the pressure to learn new techniques on newer technologies is the order of the day.
We believe that Endoscopy is just not about the technique of traversing the gastrointestinal tract or placing stents in the ducts and lumens, but understanding the whole subject as a subspecialty. And applying the conceptual knowledge of anatomy, patho-physiology, technology and technical nuances that culminates into predictable outcomes.
Endoscopy Asia apart from this weekend course, also offers a fellowship programme for candidates who aspire to have a career in the field of Gastrointestinal & Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Endoscopy, which will span over a minimum of 2 weeks / months depending on the interest and requirement of each individual.
We also have a long term (1-2 year) fellowship position, for candidates who aspire to have a career in Endoscopy. The course material for long term trainees, would comprise of digital and print material, case studies, references, didactic lectures and group discussions, apart from online CME for the enrolled trainees.
Our philosophy of training programme encompasses ‘Concepts to Clinics’, and this dimension is exemplified in our approach to one on one interaction and personalized in vivo and in vitro hands-on supervised preceptorship on simulators and phantoms.
Delegates will have one-on-one interaction with the Faculty during live procedures in the Operating Rooms and supervised hands on training on simulators and phantoms. |
